The National Homicide Investigators Association (NHIA) was originally founded in 1988. It is the mission of the NHIA to provide investigative support, training, and networking opportunities to homicide investigators, prosecutors, forensic technicians, federal agents, military police and death investigation professionals throughout the North American continent. The cornerstone of NHIA is our annual five-day training conference. It provides an environment for networking, case presentation and discussions of investigative techniques with experienced investigators and prosecutors from around the nation.
